ARCHITECTURAL

Couture Structure

Structural Statement Piece + Neutral Basics

I'm extremely inspired by architecture and  the parallelism between it, and fashion. Throughout history, both fashion and architecture have served as visual markers, reflecting the times in which they were created. They tell stories and record history in their construction.

This Jacket is treasure to me! I found it in a vintage store in Little Ethiopia (Shout out to that store owner for recognizing that me and this jacket were meant to be together & gave me an amazing discount)

Vintage and couture, this Nolan Miller piece is exquisitely made and constructed. The basket weave in subtle contrast colors, gives it visual and tactile texture.

Since this jacket is the main event in this look, I paired it with black basics so the beauty of the jacket can be appreciated fully. My matte black Infinity Necklace adds a bit more dimension and texture as well.

As a Technical Designer, I really appreciate the fit on this jacket; the balance and everything is perfection.

Paired with varying black textures and finishes, this is one of my favorite looks. I feel powerful and confident, like the boss that I am!
